I noticed a lot of article writers are having their articles get demoted into threads. Before blaming me, it's not my fault. I'm not the one who demoted it. Fergal And I cannot blame him because people have been writing articles that is not part of what Fergal wanted. Articles about technology, webmaster, business, also self-help, in other words, tutorials. You can give health tips, but the help tips article should be multiple different help tips in one article, not a single help tip on a single article. Also, news is not considered an article here. It's really brutal that articles are getting demoted, but it's not me who does it, but I cannot blame why your article is not demoted. I did have an article demoted once when I was a newbie. And after that, I tried to avoid breaking the rules.Also one member broke a rule many times,please wait for someone to reply on your article before you comment on it again. Because there's a member who replied, five replies in a row on a single article this writer wrote in because no one is commenting on it.

I've seen articles moved to other sections of the forum but it was because they didn't meet requirements of FC articles. If I remember correctly it's also stated that whenever requirements were not met this would happen. It seems fair and I view it the same way as when a thread has to be relocated to the appropriate category. It simply didn't meet the requirements of the category it was posted in. You mentioned that one of your articles got demoted and since then you tried not to break the rules. That's a useful tip to all.

Sounds like a frustrating situation, especially if people are assuming you're the one demoting articles when it's out of your hands. Following the rules is vital.
I once asked if we can have Movie & Novel reviews as article but I think Fergal said that they won't be as SEO friendly as the permitted topics.
So I do not publish them as Articles.
Some of my Articles might be slightly borderline yet they do touch at least one aspect of the themes that are mentioned.
