Daily Consumption Of Oatmeal

Postby Spontaneo » 07 Mar 2025, 14:21

I have been consuming oatmeal quite often as have been training myself to consume safe food for when my last top 2 teeth are gone.

Another benefit that I like from such dish is that is good for weight loss!

Oatmeal keeps myself from gorging.

One problem is that oatmeal can be boring, so one needs to toss in or mix in a topping. Lately, I have tossed in grapes, mixed in peanut butter, and previously, mixed in jelly/jam.

Do you like oatmeal?

I have seen many healthy recipes that call for instant.

I have seen many healthy recipes that call for rolled.

Why don't you like instant? Do you simply mean packets? Because I have a couple of canisters of instant and a couple of rolled. No packets though.

Whole oath is very good for consumption, but the issue is that it is expensive here.

I have to say I'm not a fan of oatmeal but do have it from time to time because it's packed full of various nutrients. I just don't like the slimy texture.

Nah, they're not bad for you, just not as good for you as whole oats. Quick oats have less fiber so they may give a faster blood sugar response, but you can cancel that out by adding things like seeds, Greek yoghurt or peanut butter like Spontaneo uses. Whole oats also have more beta-glucan, which helps reduce cholesterol, but quick oats are still beneficial, and better than most other cereals, so if that's what's accessible to you that's okay.

It's not the flavouring so much as whether it's whole oats or not. You can get unflavoured quick oats. They're thinner and cook faster, which is convenient. Whole oats take longer, although you can shorten the cooking time by soaking them ahead of time.

About an hour ago, I got out a bag of rolled oats and microwaved the rolled oats for 3 minutes. I tossed in some honey and cinnamon. Dinner at your service! I have some for tomorrow too!

Oatmeal is simple, filling, and really versatile. With the right mix-ins, it becomes way more enjoyable.

Yesterday morning was just not good.

There were leftovers in the fridge that I should have just thrown out, but my stubborn self, did not want to waste.

At first, I ate leftover mashed potatoes mixed with some Hammy Sammy.

Then, I ate some leftover oatmeal with cinnamon and honey.

Next, I became nauseous and fell.

I am fine now. No worries.

People, I know that we should not waste good food, but we are not doing anybody any good by making ourselves sick.

Yea it's never good to waste food or throw them away, but if you know they are no longer as fresh as it used to be, then it would be best to throw it away.

I ate those for some time for breakfast but it didn't fit for me. I was hungry very fast and could not last entire shift. I had to eat again before lunch.

Certainly I like oatmeal. As a senior citizen, oatmeal is well recommended for daily consumption. It is loaded with essential vitamins and minerals which the body needs. It's good for the heart and weight loss.

I serve this for my breakfast. I put milk, chopped banana and even a teaspoon of raisins. It's delicious and of course nutritious.

I like oatmeal, but I guess that oatmeal does not like myself.
