They have a cult following but they dont sell as X-men 97 at this moment. I just realize the multiple people I am debating with on this thread is a single person with multiple accounts and now banned.

I got a teddy bear for Valentine's Day. I did not buy the teddy bear. The teddy bear was given to myself from a friend. Are teddy bears strictly for kids or are teddy bears appropriate for adults, also?

True there are a lot of toys i would have loved to buy while growing up but was not able to, i might decide to buy them now not to play with them but just as a sign of accomplishment.

I don't think that things that would help us feel fulfilled should be ignored especially now that we have money

I have to point out that this is simply not true. There may be a large number of people who buy children's toys for themselves, but it is far from "All upper middle class and rich people do it." I posted a reply before this topic went nuts over adults buying actual children's toys for themselves and I was not joking.

Those I know consider "toys" their full size special cars, motorcycles, boats, and other novelties that they can show off to their circle of friends and family. Our "toys" rarely cost less than $50,000 (USD) and can go well beyond $100,000. We never even look at children's toys for adults. I never even heard of such a thing until reading the replies posted here. It is clearly not "All upper middle class and rich people". In fact, it is none of the above that I have ever met.

The attendees of many toy conventions are mostly single adults and not children.

My point exactly, if they are getting them for their pleasure then there's no issues at all

The recent craziness over labubu dolls clearly shows how much adults can go overboard for their toys. It's the ultimate peak of craziness and they are spending a fortune for those dolls.

Some upper middle class people I know of have children's toys- in particular, train sets and doll houses, which are seen as more respectable I suppose.

I agree that it's definately not "all" upper middle class people though.

I know a few Gen Alpha girls personally and they like plushies and games. They don't have a lot of money to buy those things for themselves though.
