Is It Practical to move to lower tier country and save money?

Postby JASPREET » 03 Dec 2024, 09:29

I have seen people, mostly rich and those that have a lot of money and business, move to lower tier countries because we all know things are relatively cheap in lower tier as compared to the top tier and they also start their business in those countries and also get access to cheap raw material and labor, man power and that ultimately helps in increasing their profitability.

Is It Practical to move to lower tier country and save money?

I have lived in the United States of America for over 86 years and visited a few other countries like Mexico, Canada, the Bahamas, London, Paris, but I have six children and 13 grandchildren plus one greatgrandchild with more to come and I guarantee there is nothing in this universe that would get my wife to any other country for more than 10 days at a time.

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

I think the most important thing you should consider is if the county has everything you need, can you still live comfortably? Can you still work and go about your passion?

If you make at least 1000 dollars then you can live like a king in developing countries.

I agree, This is already being done by many people and they choose the country to switch carefully so they don't have to make much of an adjustment and still save money

Yes it is still a common practice here, after they must have worked for years in urban areas, they move to the village to retire.

Yes it does make sense if you are looking to retire but not when you are living a better place to the third world countries that have less utilities

For some people, sure. It would depend on what you do for a job and how transferable your skills are. My qualifications are specific to where I live and I would have to retrain and probably learn another language and still make less money if I tried this.

This!! I'm all about the British Pound or EURO. Whenever I'm online looking for side gigs, I'm on the lookout for the ones that pay in GBP or EURO.

I'll only move to a country that interests me, not to save money.

I want to move to South America because its safe from World war 3. Europe, Asia, North America and Middle east are not safe. especially Trump and Putin are friends.
