About table manners...

When dining at home, do you use proper table manners, such as a napkin for your mouth, a napkin for your nose, your silverware set properly and also the glasses? Do you make sure that your elbows are not on the table? But hey, you are home. Who are you attempting to impress?

Do you use table manners when dining out? If so, why? If not, why not?

Regardless if dining at home or in public, I consume my meals so fast that everyone else is just beginning!

eating fast is bad though, French people eat meat everyday but they are skinny because they eat slowly.

Unfortunately, we don't have space for a dining table in our teeny-weeny apartment So we eat in fron of the tv with our plates on our laps, but I'd much rather eat at a table. When I do, I observe all the approppriate etiquette, especially when with others. But like @Netherrealmer, sometimes when it's just me and my husband, manners go out the window
