Motorola Bracelet phones

Postby Netherrealmer » 17 Jan 2025, 16:48

To Compete againts Samsung's foldable phones. Motorola created a phone that can bend into a bracelet. When you wear it as a bracelet it turns into a smart watch. If you unroll it , it turns into a smart phone.

The phone have foam btw so it wont be uncomfortable on your wrist.

That's a cool concept, although it seems a bit big and clunky to actually wear for long. Maybe they'll make it smaller over time or something. Though smart watches already exist so that's a bit pointless.

The fact it is made of foam makes me think it will stink because of human sweat. I mean headsets are foam and they can stink.

True. It might get itchy to wear too.

That looks like an ugly smartwatch, too thick and bulky for wrist. Doesn't look appealing to me and does not provide any features added to smart watch. Seems pointless. Also I too have the same thoughts about use of foam...it would stick with sweat.

The only added feature to the smartwatch ( already available) is that it can be converted to smartphone when one desires. So it is basically two in one. What about the price? Is it worth to go for an ugly smartwatch that can convert to smartphone at your convenience? Price would be a decisive factor for many.

This is a fascinating development in the world of foldable technology.
It will be interesting to see how it evolves and competes with other foldable devices on the market.

It's dope no doubt but am very sure over time it will have flex issus or screen issues, and not to mention the fact that it will be freaking expensive here in my country.

@Netherrealmer . You never know, it might give rise to another business of something for cleaning that foam and not let the orange turn brown. :D
Well, nothing so appealing and no added features than a regular smartphone.I won't go for it as a buyer.

These phones are eye catching but i don't think they are durable, especially for people in my region.
