Do you like the concept of an Year End Self Evaluation for your Online journey?

As I am writing this on 1st of December 2024, we just have 30 more days to go in the year 2024.
Some months seemed quite slow and a bit tense.
Others seemed to go past so fast that one did not get the time to even blink an eye.
There were tough moments and changes, at times so quick that it took time to respond to.

In respect of my Online journey, it was not much different.

Trends and patterns changed. The good part is that I think I have tried to adopt unlike some of the previous
years when I did not pay much attention.

So, here is an attempt at a self evaluation as to how things fared and what I did.
May be you find it boring. Or just ok. Or may be even interesting.

Anyways here we go :

1)Change in approach : - Earlier if I used to have an Online presence on a site, it meant devoting some time
and many a times, quite good one.
At times, the returns were not good enough.
Yet now I have changed that mindset a bit and on the path to do even more.
Now, there are some sites like Mylot which were giving lower returns so I have reduced my time there.
I like it for some casual chat. Yet I have tried to shift a few of my discussion topics and planning to other sites.
Also I still have a login on some survey sites but I am visiting them rarely as they do not seem to fit in with
my changed dynamics.

2)Exploring more about Crypto, Financial Markets and Shares/MFs have helped. Plus I try to sort and filter
and share what seems relevant information ahead.
New ventures wrt IPOs and even Sedcondary Markets have helped. Some discussions have got good response as well.

3)I used to be uninterested in short sessions of 15 to 20 minutes on a hectic weekday as I get tired by late evening. I have been more active on some weekdays on sites like FC and BMF and although not instant, it does helps.

4)Followers on Twitter showed a good rise. Yes there are quite a few non genuine folks who do not post
themselves yet others have been more in the numbers.

5)Trying out new things - making Technical Videos and a Video on FC were totally Greenfield ventures for me.
Those experiences and some comments provided me with new thought provoking ideas and also ideas on how to speak better, how to speak in a way that is more engaging and fruitful.

Of course, I am learning and always keen to share my experiences.

Well done and good for you ptrikha21. I do like the idea of doing an end of year evaluation and making some plans for the year ahead. I will schedule at least a little time to do that before the year ends. I hope that 2025 will be an even more successful year for you.

You have actually tried, and it's good you took out time to reflect on your journey, this would give you a better insight on what to do next and where to go from here, especially before we enter next year.

Yes, such evaluations become critical because often we need to do an efficient utilization of our time.

Are you making any new plans wrt new Technology and other skills or FC related plans

I'd like to upgrade the forum software we use here on ForumCoin in 2025 and also launch a more exciting contest for our members.

2024 wasn't a great year for me financially to be honest. My income went up a little (which is actually very positive given that there have been lots of layoffs in the IT sector), but the cost of living has increased so much that I feel financially worse off this year than last year.

A really tough time for you. Even I have faced a lot of struggles in managing costs.
Often there has been increased cost in terms of healthcare, festive spends and some other spends.
Crypto and Trading Earnings have improved.
However, one always need to be on the alert and be cautious.
