Personally, I am one who has a habit of sleeping between 12 Midnight and 1 AM.
In my Late School and College Days, I used to take a nap ranging between 1 and 2 hours in the afternoon, especially during the summer time.
I then used to wake up and study deep into the night. Sometimes till 2 AM as well!
I think while it varies from person to person, increased focus due to lesser external disturbance, noise etc is something that could be a positive for people who like to stay awake late in the night.
Then there are folks who are addicted to Streaming Shows or Movies who also sleep late in the night.
Of course, the side effect is a lack of sleep which sooner or later impacts one's health.
