Thoughts on waist beads?

Postby Icefrost » 26 May 2022, 10:56

Lately, I have seen a lot of ladies take to wearing waist beads as a new trend of fashion. Some people say it's spiritual while some believe it's just fashion.

What are your thoughts on waist beads? Are for or against it?

I am not for nor against it, personaly I wouldn't wear it as it doesn't fit my style. I didn't know that there is a spiritual reason to wear it, I wonder what is it

In my country thete are some people who wear it as a protective charms but not everyone. I also knew that was the reason why people wear it but nowadays I see teenagers wearing it as a form of fashion. I would wear them but I don't have a flat tummy so I don't.

I am not against women who wear them. In my opinion, it is not related to spiritual things or anything else. If it is becoming a trendy one, then why not have women enjoy having them on their waists? It is one of the accessories that make the outfit of the day complete for women.

I have waistbeads on and anyone that doesn't like it or condemns it can just mind their own business.

I don't think I'd wear it, but it looks good when other people wear them. I like better when they sit on the hips rather than tight around the waist, it gives a fun 2000's era vibe.

What do people say is spiritual about it? What exactly are they? Strings of beads like a necklace?

To be honest I really do not see why people make use of these needs, is kinda awkward.

I believe your viewpoint is based on that African belief that waist beads are for prostitutes. Is it? I can't be with a man with such traditional beliefs.

I recently found https://jerusalemfaith.com/collections/rosaries while looking for unique items, and their collection really stood out—especially if you're into meaningful gifts or faith-based stuff. I prefer mixing things that bring value emotionally or spiritually with online opportunities, makes it more fun.
