I like the Jamaican version video recipe. I need to shop at the local Dollar Tree for a can of coconut milk. Wouldn't a can of kidney beans be easier than having soaked?

I liked the brown pigeon peas but here in Texas, most stores sell the green pigeon peas. After a while, my husband decided to use kidney beans. It's just as god.

On this past Saturday, I prepared Crock-Pot candied hot smoked sausage. My roommate does not like such dish. I had a little leftover and wanted to give the rest to my neighbor as she likes my cooking.

My neighbor said that she would not be home until today and would like the leftovers today.

You don't know how bad I want those candied hot smoked sausages!
