Thank you for the contribution. You have pushed us further to reaching our goal. It is still a very long way to go. I call upon members to help my son undergo the heart surgery. Without you, I have less hope. But with you on my side, I can't miss the smile. Thank you

Well, I finally have enough to make another 100 FC donation. Here's hoping we can all collectively make a difference and reach the goal for you.

Re: Donate ForumCoin to help kat82's Fundraiser

Postby kat82 » 26 Dec 2023, 06:45

Hello everyone, thank you for the continued support and prayers for my son,

My son hasn't been good for the few weeks but thanks he is getting better and responding to the medications. I have been requested to take fresh tests of the ECO/ECG/CHEST CT/URINALYSIS/STOMACH SCAN/ and lots of other tests to help confirm the current status.

All of the above require money since there is nothing like free care at the Heart Institute. Besides, some of these tests are done not within the Heart institute itself but outside although in the same Mulago hospital.

While I am able to raise most of the funds for these tests, one thing I know is that the $5100 required for the operation I cannot manage unless I am helped by way of support, just like you have been doing.

According to the GFM campaign, we have so far collected $210 in total. This when you deduct the transaction fees leaves it below the above figure. In consideration of the $5100, we still need $4890 before my son can go for the operation.

Please, either way you can help, I will appreciate. Also letting others including friends etc know about my urgent help, you will be saving my son. I ask of you to please continue helping me. The target is far from being reached but with you by my side, I have hope that one day my son will make it and get a new life.

Thank you.

Hello, where are we standing on this Humanitarian service and kind gesture? First and foremost I am so inspired by this massive programme powered by Forumcoin. I have always championed things that unite us and are for a common cause. Forumcoin has real people and real people go through real stuff. I applaud everybody who came through on this Humanitarian service and kind gesture. Forumcoin you are leading the way and showing us what a unique forum you are.

I am going to dedicate myself to Championing this agenda as well, count me in for whatever idea you have on the table. The current program I have designed is that if we have 100 people and each person donates $1 then we have a total of $100.If the $100 is donated 10 times then you will have $1000.So $100 donated 30 times is equal to $3000.This should not be an amount that should stress us for more than 2 months.

I believe Champions that we can do this, let us give ourselves to the noble cause. The boy needs to ride his bike, LET US GO BE CHAMPIONS. <3

@Fergal, it may not be enough but kindly deduct 100FC from my account.

Thank you @Carson20t and all members for the donation and your continued support for me and my boy. I really appreciate. The current GoFundMe report shows that we have so far collected $200 which makes up to $4900 less to achieve our goal set here https://www.gofundme.com/f/tebandeke-ha ... rt-surgery

As the member above said, Forumcoin members are real and I am counting on you to be honest. If we could follow this suggestion below, it would take us a few months to reach the goal.

Carson20t wrote:he current program I have designed is that if we have 100 people and each person donates $1 then we have a total of $100.If the $100 is donated 10 times then you will have $1000.So $100 donated 30 times is equal to $3000.This should not be an amount that should stress us for more than 2 months.

I know many of you were wondering why I wasn't active of late, the reason was the boy. The boy was kind down since we haven't been able to raise the required amount for the operation. Sometimes the situation gets worse and we have to be hospital for some days.

Fellow members, I still need your help and support so that my Boy can get the life he needs as a kid. I just wish that this doesn't stop since the more we do it the more we get close to the goal.

I suggest that if you can. please share the GFM link https://www.gofundme.com/f/tebandeke-ha ... rt-surgery onto your social media profiles and with your friends be via email or etc. You never know, someone else out there might be in position of helping.

Thank you all once again.

@Fergal do I Transfer the 100FC to you or You will deduct it automatically? I did not read the instructions on the part about how the donations for FC are being made.

@Kat82 if you do not mind I am going to private message you, I need a little bit more information.

I like the fact that the funds will be wired directly to the Hospital which helps in building trust and indeed shows how much of an emergency this program is. I am also of the view that we should add a USDT account from BINANCE or something. This is because some people may be limited to using PayPal for obvious reasons.PLEASE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY GIVEN THEMSELVES SELFLESSLY, KINDLY CHIP IN AS TO THE PROGRAMS YOU HAVE LAID OUT. I WOULD LOVE TO COME ON BOARD.

Thank you. Once you pledge, Fergal deducts the coins automatically when he is ready. All you need is to ensure that you maintain the donation amount on your account until it is deducted. Also, it is okay for you to message me and I am waiting. For other donating options, this is handled by GFM. I don't know is they support PayPal since on their page I see the ability to donate with a bank card, etc as you can see here https://www.gofundme.com/f/tebandeke-ha ... rt-surgery

I went ahead and donated 200FC to your account @Kat82, I know it is not enough but since it is coming from a place of love I know God will do a miracle. There are a lot of people who gave themselves towards this kind gesture and we appreciate all they have been doing. God's Miracle in this program.

Please spread your wings to as many places as possible, i also know of Beitcure but I do not know if you have it in your country Uganda. They may also be of some help. Go through the government as well under social welfare. Meanwhile always give us updates here if you do not mind.I still believe and hope that we can raise the money in the figures i tabulated last time. <3

I have gone through, and still going through lots of challenges. Everyday is something new but I have not lost hope. I know one day my boy will be able to get the life of choice. I have been asked for fresh reviews and will soon update once I am able to rise the required monies for the checkups.

Hello FC members, I am very thankful for your contribution towards my son's heart surgery. @Fergal, Oldguy and the rest of you all, I appreciate you for the efforts and love you shown towards this cause. Thank you and may the Almighty God reward you abundantly.

Unfortunately, Dave the account operator has to withdraw the loan that was helping out account avoid that monthly fee that is levied on accounts whose balance is below $300. Since the campaign failed to reach $300 in total collections for the one year it has been active, we resolved to close both the bank account and the GoFundMe campaign.

It is unfortunate that besides my son's current health that isn't good in addition to my own situation, the campaign has been ended before it could yield the target amount of $5100.

This has left me no other choice. However I won't stop, I will continue seeking for other ways.

Thank you much everyone for your kind heart and love for my son and myself. I will always remember everyone for their help.

--- 30 Aug 2024, 09:16 ---

Thank you Dave for all the efforts towards this cause and love towards my son and family We are so grateful. My family is very grateful for the love and care. I have received a total of 498,919 Ugandan Shilling equals
134.10 United States Dollar with transaction fees of 7.67 dollars. I will use the money to cater for Haafithus bills as I wait for what the Almighty has prepared for him. While I feel sad that the campaign didn't go as expected, at least I am happy to know and learn that good people like you Dave, Fergal and the entire ForumCoin community still exist. I extent my thanks to all who have stood for me and those will are still with him in heart. I know one day my son will be able to undergo this life saving surgery. Only the Almighty knows. Thank you so much once again.
