No tea No Coffee No Extra Expense

Postby Vehlijanta » 27 Feb 2023, 14:38

If you are habitual to tea or coffee then you are spending a large percentage of money on it. In India majority prefer Milk tea, Milk coffee so in order to have tea or coffee you need to buy sugar, Milk, Tea or coffee, utensils, Gas stove or induction and Gas or electricity. If you can stop consuming these drinks you'll save money. It may not be easy but if you want to save then you can even do the impossible.

Coffee and tea in moderation are good for our health, I don't think I am going to cut it, I only take one coffee per day (it helps me with my low blood pressure) and almost every day I have tea. both drinks I prepare at home and I don't use sugar. To say the truth I find it quite affordable.

I drink tea, but I wouldn't say I spend a large percentage of money on it. It's not very expensive. Maybe if you drank huge quantities of it, but for me it's like 2, maybe 3 cups a day, which costs me about $1 total. I also don't take milk or sugar with it, and I don't need to buy utensils (tea spoons come with a set of cutlery, if you even need them, which you don't if you don't take milk or sugar). Sure, you will save money by not buying anything you currently buy, but it wouldn't make a huge difference for me, and the enjoyment I get from tea is worth the small expense.

Juice is more expensive than tea. At least, where I live it is.

I use tea every day. We have goats so I use goat milk, I also don't take sugar.

I rarely take coffee nowadays.

Almost most of us are passing through very hard time, and obviously we need to cut down our all extra expenses. But as far as tea and coffee are concern at least I can't quit it just for saving purpose, it do has it's so many health benefits too.

Tea is definitely more budget friendly than juice. A few cups of tea cost less than a comparable quantity of juice. Also, the enjoyment people get from drinking a cup of tea makes small expense worth it.

You can't say that someone should abstain from tea and coffee just to save money. Those ones are food. Ans someone has to eat.

All these small expenses can easily constitute a financial drain to us. We could do with cutting down on some expenses like coffee.
