Banking hall or bank agent? Which do you prefer

Postby kat82 » 08 Sep 2023, 09:55

Technology has revolutionized how stuff works. Instead of going to the banking hall and waiting in long queues to make a simple deposit, you can go to the banking agent and make a transaction in seconds. Where do you prefer? Banking hall or agent? Me, agent is my choice.

I have not been inside a banking hall for so many months now. I don't think I have done that this year. I prefer to use bank agents. It's very convenient for.me. I even have relationship with a few bank agents and they bring my withdrawals for me at home.

Banking agents have kept me from having to encounter with rude bank staff and long queues. Even the bank tellers are grateful because those long queues used to put them under enormous pressure. I only go to the banking hall for issues that have to do with customer care.

It all depends on the volume of transactions you have in mind. If it is small transfer or transaction, you can patronize the agents who are close to you and pay little charge..

Who prefers the bureaucracy of bank halls when bank agents are scattered everywhere I go. I stay with the agents, conduct my transactions in 4 minutes and leave.

Nowadays, I rarely go to the banking hall. I use the bank agents around since I would have to pay transport to the bank still.

I use agency banking more often. I still go to the bank though to clear some international payments I get regularly for my grand Mom through Western Union.

If I am dealing with huge amounts of money, I prefer to complete my withdrawal transactions at the banking hall.
This way, I make considerable savings as banking halls charge lower transaction costs than agents.

I just stepped out of my house now and did a quick transaction with the agency banker in the next premises. Banks are not important for me again.

That is what I prefer and a reason that agents work for me. Yes, agents help with quick and easy transactions.

I only go to the banking hall when someone gives me a check to go and cash. Apart from that, agency banks and ATM's are just fine for me.

I don't think we have banking agents here. If we do, then I'm not aware of them. I much prefer eBanking to avoid having to go in, and that works for me.

This banking agents have taken over the daily routine of deposits and withdrawals from banks. Banks in my place just custody the funds and facilitate access to these agents to run these transactions. Banks in my country majorly deal on credit services.

Even before agency banking, the tasks of funds withdrawal was mostly done by ATM machines. With the rise of banking agents collecting deposits, banking halls for Small transactions is not a nice idea.
