Feminine straight men exist and Manly gay men exists. The Singer Prince slept with more women some of the so called Manly men out there. Also women are into feminine men now, Look how popular boybands are.

meanwhile in Japan.... Waifu Pillows are blamed for the population drop. The men became so socially awkward they became afraid of real women so they use these pillows as wives instead.

I woud disagree with you on one point. Every lady that I meet tells me that they want a strong man that they can look up to.

I don't think there's anything wrong with adults playing children's toys just for fun and nostalgia.

The point is the obsession with it. Some adults stuff their houses full off toys. I don't find it tasteful.

Should we call it a paradigm shift where adults are getting obsessed about toys than children.

Children are not obsessed with those toys any longer and there still has to be a market for them. So the makers try to create value out of them that adults would fancy.

I once worked with a lady who collected teddy bears. Her collection was amazing!

The truth is that adults want to feel young again. And that could be why they might like to have toys around. The irony of the ages.

I'm not so sure it's because they want to feel young again. A lot of adults buy toys because they are collectibles. A lot of adults buy video game consoles (which I consider a toy) because video games are addictive. When we bought our kids their first video game player (an Atari), my late husband started playing games with them. My husband and I did not grow up in the video game generation. But he had no problem learning how to play and gladly joined in on the fun. :D

Video games are not toys from my own point of view. They are gadgets. From that analogy,it also implies that smartphones are toys.

Adults need brain refreshments so as not to be mentally stable. Our head is naturally our memory that can take any large amount of thing.

Well! If you go shopping online and look for Toy and Games, video games pop up in your choices. But smartphones don't.

it is true! We need to be mentally stable as well and try to think of something else apart from the big responsibility that we carry on our head.

Depending on the kind of toys that you are talking about. Adults were children before they grew up so there are nothing absolutely wrong with adults getting toys for themselves to play when they are lonely.
