ToTW Do You Promote Your Website Offline?

Postby Mika » 19 Jul 2023, 12:56

Have you tried promoting your website offline? Were you able to get visitors through your offline promotion campaign? Well, I have not tried any offline promotion method, and I am not sure if I can actually bring visitors through this method.

I have promoted my website offline to friends and families but I think it is not an effective way to generate traffic to a website.

That's what I believe. People not even remember your website name or URL. Unless your website is something where people can buy services and products, it is not even worthwhile to promote offline.

I do not have a website to promote though, but it would definitely not be a bad idea to promote it offline. Though promoting it online would be easier.

I do not feel there is a need to promote your website offline. Unless you are advertising the products or services on your site. But promoting a blog like site online would not yield anything positive from my own point of view.

I have never promoted my website offline. I did not pay attention to the marketing side of my website, but I was able to place it on the first page of Google.

If it is a business based website, it is very easy to promote it offline. You just do it alongside your offline business promotion activities. Include it in your business cards and flyers. Even on billboards. E commerce websites too are easily promoted offline but not for blogs.

Well said, if you are running an ecommerc e site, you should not only promote online but also offline. THis will place your business among a lot of people.

Does it really matter? Tell someone the name of your site now and they will forget it the next minute. It is not effective means of promotion.

I’ve tried a few offline efforts, mainly flyers at local events and info cards at coffee shops. It helped a bit with brand recognition but didn’t move the needle much on traffic. What really made the difference was pairing those offline efforts with solid healthcare SEO from Fortress. Once people saw the name and actually Googled it, the website was easy to find and looked credible.

Yes I have tried it by word of mouth. I tell people that am a writer and I won a website. They ask me the name and intell them go to Google and write the word "thekonsulthub". Next day they tell you we saw the sure and is all ok. So I spread my word to those who cares. But mostly I do market my sites online.

I haven’t tried offline promotion. I’ve always focused on online channels since that’s where most of the audience hangs out. But I’ve seen some people use business cards, local events, or even word of mouth to bring in some traffic.

Online is far better than offline. But offline is guru when it comes to new clients and those that convert.

Whenever I post something ( I am not very regular), I just share the link on various social media platforms. Other than that I am not doing anything to promote it. Yes, sometimes I just talk casually about it to my friends and family. I just ask them to check, this can be considered some sort of indirect marketing offline.

Everyone has their own strategy that works for them. I’ve seen good results with online methods.

I don't promote my website offline, because where I stay people who live here don't really know anything about website, so it's a waste of time I do promote my website online and I normally get traffic needed
