I'm not sure they use the PPV model. From what I understand the site earns Ad Sense revenues. If your articles get visited that credits toward revenues earned. HP shares the revenue with you. All I know is I can sign into my account, go to the dashboard and it will show my earnings. Once the earnings reach $50 they send me payment. If you have an Ad Sense account you know how slow Google is to credit earnings. It's a slow crawl but I have been consistently paid by HUBPages for years, and I have not even been active. It's passive income. My advice is to publish evergreen content, try to get your HUB featured, and the money will trickle in slowly but surely.

Both Hubpages and Vocal media have been popular ones among writers. They are good platforms to write articles m I have no personal experience with either of them. I have been anticipating on joining them for long, but somehow I could not because of the commitment and time that they would need.

I knew a guy there who wrote about nothing but political stuff. I write about religious stuff. If a site allows religion they usually allow politics.

I am not a writer I don't write articles so I obviously choose social media you can also make money through social media and it's great for entertainment purposes

If you cannot use Paypal, you cannot earn on Hubpages. If you cannot use stripe, you cannot earn on Vocal. Vocal can be compared to Medium. It works on the same model

I wish I could say the same, I have written many articles for Hubpages but my earnings are less than 20 cents. I liked the site and the all idea behind it, I can give it a second try but if the earnings rate is still so low I will definitely leave.

HubPages:
Pros:-
-No minimum word count
-Uses Paypal
-Earnings and views are updated daily
-You can post your article right away and don’t have to wait for the reviewer to post it.

Cons:-
-Can’t post already published articles from other websites
-Can’t post your own links in your article
-$50 payout which is quite high
-Earnings are mostly calculated by AdSense
-There are too many Ads are all over your article

Vocal Media:
Pros:-
-Easy to use
-You can post your own links
-Earnings and views are updated in real-time
-Amazon affiliate links can be used to earn money
-Can reuse old content from other websites

Cons:-
-$35 payout
-Doesn’t automatically save article
-$10 a month to be a Vocal+ member

It will be hard for me to get paid on social media so I will just go for hubpages

From my previous memory, hubpage needs 1500 words minimum, but I wonder vocal media is Paying or not ? Is vocal + a must? Thx for clarifying
