I'm not sure they use the PPV model. From what I understand the site earns Ad Sense revenues. If your articles get visited that credits toward revenues earned. HP shares the revenue with you. All I know is I can sign into my account, go to the dashboard and it will show my earnings. Once the earnings reach $50 they send me payment. If you have an Ad Sense account you know how slow Google is to credit earnings. It's a slow crawl but I have been consistently paid by HUBPages for years, and I have not even been active. It's passive income. My advice is to publish evergreen content, try to get your HUB featured, and the money will trickle in slowly but surely.

Cons:-
-$35 payout
-Doesn’t automatically save article
-$10 a month to be a Vocal+ member
