Personal Safety Apps That You Should Use in 2019

Postby skysnap » 30 May 2019, 11:09

There are always some unexpected security issues that may arise for people living in some places. And we never know what kind of problems we are going to face while we are out walking or driving or say riding the cycle etc. So here there are some apps that can be used for the personal safety and keeping an eye on the safety. Check out the below apps for the personal safety and self defense.

Life360

This app is meant for the family to keep an eye on the people in the family. Here once the app is downloaded in the each persons phone. You have to add the people in the circle and then get it tracked through the app. The basic app is free of cost and then the app requires subscription for the tracking and other premium features. Like say for entire family usage, this may require the subscription and also needs the tracking.

bSafe

This app is extremely simple and here you can easily track the location of the person. Here you get basic google map in terrain mode. And you get to track the person who is using the app. This can be handy if you want to keep an eye on the kids. And also it can be handy in such case where you are sending kids to some trip or so. It may be suitable for also when you go into some of the risky areas for say travel or some other purpose.

LifeLine Response

When you are in situation say like you got attacked. In such case you may need some sort of the mechanism that should help you to tell the police. So this type of app can be a good solution for you on that context. Here even if the attacker breaks the phone, you tend to get the option to call for police help and app would check some of the basic parameters and send the police your way. So this type of approach is definitely good for the safety. The app is free and there seems to be a subscription that needs to be collected for this to work on additional features.

My Safetipin

There are times when you want to know where there is more risk in the area. And it can be easier to understand for such apps with the help of map and the potential shared data. In case of mysafetipin, you can get the idea on where there are more likely to be security issues. You can find such apps helping you clear the data for you to be more safe. Like they refresh the data on incidents and safety rules, such clean data would be lot more useful in terms of the safety context. It is free app because it makes use of the public data. So you may want to try it in such case.

These are some of the safety apps that women and men both can use for the safety. It can be handy in case of the apps which you can use for the personal defense. There are lot of other personal safety issues are out there. But we can't be so sure about the issues that we face that can't be handled with the apps. So we have to think of the surrounding and think accordingly in such case as well.

I like the rational you presented for getting the apps. For example, if a person needed to be persuaded when you make statements about an app being handy if you want to keep an eye on the kids, that's a great selling point.
