Pop College courses that are in demand in the future

Postby Netherrealmer » 17 Sep 2018, 01:04

I decided to write this article after finding out many College Graduates are unemployed because the courses they taken have too much competition, the number of graduates overwhelmingly outnumbered the hiring slots. There is a college graduated who ends up as a cashier at walmart after graduating in Liberal arts specializing in women's studies. The worst one is the Psychology graduate who ends up working as a porn actress because most clinics refuses to hire a psychologist with no experience. How can you have experience if no one wants to hire you and give you one? I also have a neighbor who is a Fine Arts graduate and the poor guys is a homeless bum selling paintings on the park that no one wants to buy.

Unemployed College Graduates is becoming a disturbing epidemic. So here are some in demand college courses that pays high salary the Highschool graduates should consider.

Engineering- If you are good at Mathematics, Engineering is the course for you. There are many jobs and fields you can enter if you are an engineer. You can enter different fields in science if you have background in engineering. If you want to work abroad and be paid handsomely, Many countries around the world are outsourcing engineers. Your Visa have less chances to get denied if you are an engineer because of the high demand.

Robotics- To become an expert in robotics, You must be a graduate of engineering before taking this course.
Many people predicted robots will steal a lot of jobs. Well your jobs won't be stolen if you are the one making and designing robots.

Agriculture

It doesn't seemed like a glamorous job to be covered in mud on a farm trying to make a bull get a cow pregnant but Animal Husbandry and planting different kind of crops have a huge demand around the world. The demand of food is growing and where does all that food came from. You can either start your own farm or work for a huge corporate farm. Some countries are now outsourcing farmers abroad because only few people takes this course despite of the large demand.

Anything related with the medical field.

The demand for doctors and nurses are really high. The demand for nurses is so high that some retired hollywood celebrities are taking a course in nursing! Doctors are paid really high especially in certain fields. Gynecologists are making a lot of money because 50% of the world's population are women. So imagine all the patients lining up to see a Gynecologist on a daily basis. One of the highest paid doctors are the Anesthesiologists, It is an easy yet risky job. All you need to do is to inject Anesthesia to the patient and let the surgeon to everything. It is risky though because you might get the blame if the patient dies. A huge number of medical course graduates are easily hired despite of lacking experience. The demand is higher than the graduates, just choose the field right for you.

Tourism
- If you are not good Math and sciences, Well tourism is the better option. You will just study the history of a place and research the best places to visit around the country and you are good to go. If you are multilingual you may also have more chances of getting hired.

We will always need farmers and Agriculture is definitely a prosperous field. The demand for food will continue to grow and it makes sense to be knowledgeable in this area. Sadly, it is not promoted as it used to be. We had to study Agricultural Science for three years but I hardly believe it is given as much priority in the school systems these days.

I agree, all of these are good areas to secure employment.

You are forgetting about Genetic engineering which is doing wonders in the World and has a lot of scope in the future! In India Engineers have become in excess and they are even applying for the job of clerks in many Government offices! That varies from place to place!

Doing a graduation in some humanities subject and then going for a masters in management is also helpful. The industry of food and hospitality in hotel management is in demand and that of finance too.

In my state, Lakhs and Lakhs of Engineers are without Job. I am also an Electrical and Electronics Engineer and I am Jobless. Each and every company is asking me Experience. I don't understand the logic ''How a recruiter can expect experience from the fresher?"

Hello. In my personal opinion, teaching English is one of the demand courses in the future, or if I may say, demand at this times as well. As we know, English language is a worldwide language and no 1 language most used in the world. Many countries still needed teachers or educators to teach English at primary, secondary and also tertiary level.
I believe the course of Teaching English as Second Language (tesl) is the college courses that are in the demand nowadays and also in the future. Hope that helps. Thanks.

If one learns a Foreign language, Tourism is a good option. For Technology minded folks, AI, Machine Learning and Automation would be in high demand.
Environmental specialists too could be in demand if countries decide to do more to combat Global Climate change.

Many retired actors, pornstars, wrestlers, athletes and singers became nurses. So that speaks a lot.
