I succumbed to the temptation here at ForumCoin and registered with Niume.com not knowing what was in store for me. I wish to share my experience.

This is my fourth day there – actually I could say I have been fully active there only for two days and in those two days I garnered quite a number of likes which there they are known as hypes.

I did not know what those hypes would do for me as payment is based only on views. After loitering here and there and reading through some notes from Support I have understood their worth.
Admin decides to upgrade one’s status in a particular sphere depending on the hypes one gets in that sphere. Sphere there means category.

I am not sure if I should aim at raising my status in any one sphere or just post where my interest takes me. For now I am concentrating on Photography as i have a whole storehouse of photos to upload there. My status has risen from one to nine. The maximum is 50.

The status decides the value of a hype in that if I click on that thumb up for any post that I read, that hype could have a value greater than. For example someone with a status of 50 for a particular sphere and if that member clicks the tump up on any post in that sphere that member will get 10 hypes and so on.

The one with the upgraded status will have a good chance of their posts being placed under popular or featured category thus having a better exposure for receiving views.

My observation is that

- there is a great audience at Niume who post quality videos, pictures and information.
For me what gives me satisfaction is when my posts are read and my photos are appreciated.

- There are many who follow me which again makes me feel that I am someone there a froce to be reckoned with.

- The navigation at Niume is great. Everything is available then and there be it uploading videos, pictures and the share buttons.

- One needs to just share and not bother about individually sharing with followers at those sites. I publicly share there.

- The more you interact with others the more noticeable will be your posts.

-I do agree compared to those who have great followings will earn faster. But when I compare this site to say, Literacy Base I think I will fare better here. And if I am to compare it to myLot then I will be flying colours here at Nuime.

-More than earning I have found loads of members there who share my interests.

- I can see great colours on the horizon here at Niume. All what I have to do is

1. Post regularly with unique photographs and videos
2. Read posts of others and appreciate them mostly by commenting
3. Subscribe
4. Regularly go through alerts that Support sends

And last but not the least be thorough with the rules, terms and conditions. I must accept the fact that there is no delete option which means what I contribute there is their property. I have no problem there. I am a photographer of sorts and I can fill up my digital camera folder just by the click of my camera.

This is one site I haven't looked out although I think my writing/blogging days are at an end. I just can't summon up the enthusiasm I used to which Is why I stick to forum posting. I wish you luck on this site though. Do you know if they pay quickly? What is the minimum cash out rate?

The cash out is 10 dollars. One cannot earn there quickly unless you get thousands of views. I have no such followers. But I am enjoying that site for other reasons

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback on Niume, @bestwriter :) I've looked at the site and like the interface, it looks very professional. When I first heard of it, I registered there but have yet to drum up the enthusiasm to write. IDK as organised as the site is, I just get the feeling I'm likely to struggle for views, and since there's a lot of emphasis on that, I'm probably never going to write there.

You seem to have got off to a flying start. I wish you the very best on Niume :)

Thanks for that nod of appreciation. It depends what exactly one looks for, at writing sites. I look for much more than earnings. I do not have many sites where I write and therefore whatever I earn at sites is not something I depend on, for my survival. I like the scope i have to interact at a global level exchanging news and views.
Niume is a slow earner unless one has thousands of views per post which i see some do.

I fully agree with you @bestwriter. I joined there on 3rd October, reached 10,000 views on 29th October and received a congratulatory email from them stating that I have reached the threshold of $10 and will be paid on 15th November. What more can I expect from a revenue sharing site? I wish to note that my articles rejected here and elsewhere are all getting good response on niume. I am happy about it.

Thanks for the reputation point. And congrats for your achievement. You reached payout in less than a month. It is not at all difficult it seems to me. Why would anyone reject your articles here? I have no issues with FC. They have their own rules. Did you break any rule? (lol)

Hi @bestwriter, I have been writing online for the last 15 years. According to my belief and knowledge, I did not break/broke any rule here. It is simply that the 'admin' did not like some of my posts. In case I broke any rules here, they can very well point out that. Is it not? Anyway, one thing I understood. If one door closes, another always opens!

If you think you did not break any rule then you should have asked for clarification. You must otherwise staying in doubt like this is not good.

Hi @bestwriter, I know and I agree. But I don't want to waste my time and energy in unnecessary pursuits. As I said, if one door closes, another one always opens to share our work.

That's not correct. If you open one of your posts you'll see a wheel symbol to the right of the thumbs up and down buttons. Click on that and one of the options in the drop-down menu is 'delete'. It also state in their terms of service that "you grant a perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty free, worldwide licence to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, prepare derivative works of, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute any IP content that you post on our Site", so, while they retain the right to use your work if they wish to, it's still your property and always will be.

I have already read about the site in another thread here but I haven't joined yet, your review is quite positive and maybe I will try my luck there.

Where do you share your posts? In other social media? Or the views that counts to reach the minimum points are from Niume users?

You are great Gina and so thorough. So much to learn there for me yet. I am after all a newbie (lol). What happens after anyone decides to delete a post. Can they use it elsewhere? Quite curious about this.

As soon as the post is submitted a window pops up and that is when I share. The share icons are visible there.

As it's non-exclusive it can be used elsewhere but that's subject to the rules of the other site. Some won't accept content that's already been published somewhere else, even if it has been deleted.

When I find a site that is more attractive than the ones I am working on, then I pay less attention to the old ones

@Gina145 When Google de indexes a deleted post can Niume still have control over it?

Great article @bestwriter. I have finally took the plunge and posted two articles. I have made 5 cents so far and am looking forward to reaching my first $1 like yourself. I will have to look for your posts on Niume and share them for you. Good luck with the site. I am sure that you are going to do great.

That is extremely kind of you. More than earning I must tell you I like that place for interaction. There are some great writers, artists, cooks and photographers there.
I am off to look for you there and shall subscribe you.

They say we're giving them perpetual rights so I suppose they can still use it, but so can we. I'm really not sure what would happen though. Maybe someone else has more information.

Thanks Gina. I think the best would be to get it straight from the horse's mouth. I will do that. Today they have been silent. I have posted articles theree but see no activity.

I do not think the door has closed on you. You have assumed that. It is left to you to clear the air. I personally feel FC listens.
