All of your points are valid and sound. I never said America was the Queen of Purity. But usually when it's our Independence Day, Americans celebrate and some non-Americans celebrate with US. I have never picked up on a 4th of July thread with so many people were posting angry tweets. It wasn't my imagination. When I checked for Australia's Independence Day. Those were some angry tweets! I have a lot of Indian friends. When I post "Happy Independence Day" to them I don't see a bunch of angry tweeters.
