I don't know if you are old as me. I am already 65 years old. I would be receiving soon my retirement pay. What would be the best thing to do with that money?

Depends on your liquid position. If you have enough then you can convert your retirement benefits into capital. May be part of it could go for purchase of land, debentures, shares, and bank deposits. You should enjoy part of it - may be go on a foreign holiday with your family

Real estate is a solid investment option, at least in my city. I don't know if you could build or purchase real estate for guaranteed returns.
