If you could buy and run any established website that exists, what site would you buy and why?

Thanks for your question CyberFreak. I'm a big fan of Google so I'd like to own that one, not that I'm too ambitious or anything :)

What I like most about Google is that it is so fast and efficient at providing access to the world's information. Basically you can find the answer to almost any question there and hence it can be a huge help to people's lives. One of the reasons I like forums so much, is because people can ask their questions there and get suggestions and advice there, to help make their lives better.

The highest number of pints you've had on a night out? (I am just assuming you drink beer!)

If you were suddenly woken up in the middle of a deep sleep and asked to mention 5 FC users that first came to your minus apart from your Admins and moderators who would that be?

Thanks for your questions!

cessy_08 wrote:The highest number of pints you've had on a night out? (I am just assuming you drink beer!)

I drink a lot less in recent years, than what I used to drink in the past. Honestly I'm not sure that I'd like to say or estimate the most I drank on a night out  I've had some wild nights out that I couldn't remember very well the next day, but certainly knew that I'd drank and spent far too much. Too old and too broke for that now :)

Decentlady wrote:If you were suddenly woken up in the middle of a deep sleep and asked to mention 5 FC users that first came to your minus apart from your Admins and moderators who would that be?

We have so many great members who are very active on the forum and who have made thousands of posts here. I couldn't and wouldn't like to say who the first five members to come to mind would be. The first five members I would think of tonight would probably be different to the first five members I'd think of tomorrow night - depending on who was active or who made a post that particularly stuck in my mind.

bestwriter wrote:I want the following post deleted

The best way to have a post like that dealt with would be to report it. Anyway, it's deleted now.

Sorry, I know the answers above are not very specific.

HAHA, we all have had that sort of nights with friends anyway  Although I don't experience anything where I am totally blank out after a night out, I do remember fainting after too many tequila shots :lolno:

I don't drink at all anymore, but I remember waking up in my car parked in a lot and I had to find a gas station to find out where I was before I could get home.

Thanks for your question bestwriter. I partially answered it in a previous post.
CyberFreak does the more technical work on ForumCoin so that saves me a lot of time, as does the good work done by our forum Moderators. I try to work on the site every day, responding to PMs, reading and responding to posts etc. On weekends I spend time doing work such as developing ideas to grow the community.

As we grow, I spend more and more time on the site. On most weeks it is probably about 7 - 20 hours per week and as previously mentioned that is growing as the site grows and I clear other tasks to focus more on ForumCoin.

Generally I spend some time here in the mornings before going to work, in the evening after work and then on weekends. 7 hours would be on the low side and on most weeks I would spend more hours than that on ForumCoin.

I've given you positive rep for your question, so that balances it out :) Members who make lots of good quality posts here on ForumCoin will regularly get positive reputation points. However, all members will get the occasional negative rep, it really isn't something to be concerned about. Unless of course you receive lots of negative reputation, then it might be worth considering how you can improve your posts.

Thankis. I do not see you when I am here in the mornings. I am up rather early when you are deep in sleep and your morning hours perhaps could be my siesta and then your evening time could be the only time I would see you here. Your sevenish evening time could be my tea time. I just snack at that time :)

I simply pick a number using https://www.random.org/, not too tricky at all :) I do also post a screenshot of the result from there when announcing the contest winner, so that members can see where the number came from.

Thanks for your question Decentlady.

Decentlady wrote:Can you read people's PMs?

Assuming you mean PMs that members send to each other, we don't read those. As the owner of the forum I do have access to the DataBase where all our content is stored, so if I really wanted to I could probably access PMs through the DB, however that's not something we have ever done or have any intention of doing.

Thank you for answering that. Here is other related one:

If we delete PM from our inbox, does it get deleted from your database as well?

Phew, thank God LOL Not that I have anything to hide. It's just comforting that you guys have no interest in snooping around what's said in confidence among various members!
