Note: we had 223 topics under the New Posts link before adding 6 new topics introduced today. As of this moment, there are only 219 topics displayed because so many older topics have reached the end of the line. There have now been many more new topics introduced since this contest began than there were at the start and yet we still don't have enough to last a week. We need new topics every day and active members are the only source. Topics are currently expiring faster than new topics are added.

Even new members who were only here for a few days have contributed new topics but a lot of the old slugs trudge along without bothering to do their part.

65 members have contributed replies to those new topics in the same time, but 40 of them have not bothered to provide any new topics.

I am just trying to point out to those remaining 40 members that post replies need to see that contributing new topics is also part of their obligation.

If every member made a point to come prepared to provide a new topic every time we log in we would have a regular supply of a much wider range of interests for all of us to work on all the time. It should become a habit for every member. If you want to post replies to topics on ForumCoin you have an obligation to also provide new topics.

There were only 5 new topics posted yesterday. As of this moment, there have only been 2 new topics added so far today. We are down to 209 topics listed in the New Posts link. Posting new topics every single day is not an option. Every member who posts content should feel obligated to contribute at least 1 new topic every day. There is no other source. All topics come from active members and that includes you.

We started on November 22 with just 147 topics listed under the new posts link. These members have provided 302 new topics over the latest 30 days. That should have brought us up to 449 topics to work with. Thing is, all topics run through a limited display period from the time they were posted to 7 days after the latest posting activity and then drop off to the site archives. As a result of the drop off, we are already all the way back to just 183 topics listed under the new post link. Only a net gain of 36 topics after a whole month. That is only 12% of all the newest content still available under the new posts link.
