Great video!!! When I worked my full time job, I would talk to myself about different things that still needed to be done and sometimes after I would finish something, I would say "alright" as a way of verbally checking off an item on my mental list. I most times do not even realize I do this, but a girl I worked with mentioned it to me one day and I realized that I do this quite a bit. It did help me remember things too.
My daughter needs to read aloud to herself in order to fully comprehend what she is reading. She gets more out of the reading when she does this versus only reading silently to herself. Her tutor tested her by having her read silently and answering questions after and then reading quietly to herself out loud and then answering the questions. She got more questions right when she read aloud to herself.
