Or you could try repasting your CPU and GPU with a better thermal paste, odds are the thermal paste which is the paste used to seal the micro gaps between your heatsink and component are atrocious and lost its efficiency if you didn't touch it at all since you first bought the laptop. There are a few guides on the internet on how to do this, but if you are unsure it is best to leave it to the professionals.
I have overheating problems with my slightly powerful laptop. The CPU can touch 97 degrees when used for gaming DoTA 2 Beta in Ultra quality, 1920x1080. Although the computer managed to stay at 60 FPS throughout the whole game, I felt your pain too. my last thermal application was done badly and I need to redo it again ( I used the dot method but used too much thermal paste ).
