When playing a video game on the computer, do you prefer to use a keyboard or a controller? Personally, I think I would prefer to use a controller for most games. I'm left handed and find that most keyboard controls are set up with a right handed gamer in mind. On the other hand, controllers are usually set up so that they don't favor either left or right handed people.

Well it depends if I am playing on pc then I use keyboard and mouse and if I am playing on console then I prefer controler!! so depending on which one I am playing on at the moment!!!

I think it would be pretty tough to get all my hotkeys mapped onto a controller, since my favorite game is World of Warcraft. I have heard of people playing it with a controller, which I guess could be cool, but I prefer the keyboard and mouse. I've played it this way so long, it's like the muscle memory just takes over. I'd hate to start all over with a controller at this point.

Keyboard and mouse for 95% games. The only games I prefer to play with a controller are fighting games, platformers and certain third person shooters but I rarely play these genres.

It really depends tbh. If I'm emulating a game I prefer using the controler.

I think miyeonnie is right when I'm emulating a game then I would prefer using a controller. I don't have a real controller for my PC but I have a PS3 controller that I use for games such as GTA 5. You can use the motionjoy software if you don't know how to use it on your computer.

I remember the joystick of the olden days, it is like holding the entire power to yourself. With the Indy 500 racing, I had a grand time playing that in the arcade and only the joystick was used.

It depends on the game. There are games you prefer to play with the keyboard and mouse, but others prefer my gamepad. For graphic adventures I use keyboard and mouse ...

for some games I need a controller, I couldn't play the pc verson of tombraider with the keys I just couldn't.

Well depends on the game but I mainly use the keybord for role play games, if is a shooter then I prefer a controler .

It depends on what kind of game, but I prefer controller, it is more enjoyable to play using it.

I just ordered xbox one controller to use it on PC. I initially wanted to get 360 controller but I read that it has really bad D-pad. So bad that playing platformers would be a nightmare. Xbox one controller has great D-pad and the rest should be about on par with 360 controller so I went with that one.

And yeah, I prefer mouse + keyboard for most games.

A controller will be the best and easy to apply.You cannot use a keyboard to play a game accurately since you will be glued to the same position.
