They will either turn gray or yellow or worst orange after years of using them. Black is the safest color because they still look new years after purchasing them. I stopped buying white appliances after I realize the plastic will be absorbing stains and dust after years of use. They look great when they are brand new but once they got old, their color will change and they will look dirty.

Very true, but more often than not, white looks better. White gadgets also cost more in some places. I wanted to buy a white Samsung phone when I was younger and it was $50 more than the Blue and Black version.

I love my white appliances!! By the time they start turning colors they're pretty much ready to be retired and new appliances purchased anyway. I noticed that our dishwasher has a spot that is turning yellow but it's original to the house and I'm surprised it's still running.

I'm so glad you didn't say to get stainless...I can't stand the look of those.

I noticed you also showed a white keyboard and it's been ages since I've seen one of those. Most of the keyboards I've seen in the US now have black keys.

I would prefer to buy black or stainless. they just look better in a kitchen and easier to clean in my opinion

Only my car is white, the rest are all black, greyish, and one is even peach. The car is white for a reason though. The dealer was saying that there are very few models of that car in the showroom and whenever any new ones comes through, it gets sold like hot cake, so I had made compromise with the color finally so that I don't have to remain in the queue for so long. And the showroom would generally jack up the on road price for it, as car prices are generally moving higher up

I would never buy a white car (only if price is very, very good). I drive cross 3 villages, concrete plant, few cow and other animal farms so my car can't be clean. Many tractors leave dirt on highway so that spread on my car to.

You are right but that's the usually of a color white to decolorize, to change its color. For me, it doesn't matter. It depends on how I take care of it as long as it functions well and last due to 8ts durability.

It is so true even clothes but the good thing with clothes is you can throw them away. But for gadgets I agree that black is a good colour to choose if you want it to look good after many years of use.

You can At least bleach white clothes to keep them white. I cannot say the same with white appliance.

The same rule goes for vehicles too.
In our area, based on my observation, only 5% (if not less) of cars and motorcycles are colored white.
The rest have different colors.

I kind of like silver appliances too, My kitchen gadgets are in Silver and Platinum. I like the metallic look.

I do not buy anything white, weather appliances or clothes. For appliances I always go black. Weather laptop, washing machine, stove you name it. White is a lot of work. If buy a white applianc, nomatter how many times you clean it, it will be yellow soon.

Sensible post. That was the condition during 2000's time. Now we've got appliances and gadgets in different colors even some bright colors like red.

Most products that has a light color like white usually gets dirty fast and makes your product look old or damaged its more better to purchase a product that has a darker color it shows less scatches.

I like white appliances too, in one point you are right, when the white color start to vanish it is usually the time to buy new ones. I don't have many white appliances because my husband prefer black or silver.
