I always prefer windows as a operating system, and never I used other systems. I have worked with Linux when I was working in one of the German branch office. They used Linux OS but I found very comfortable with windows.

In the future I want to buy a Mac and throw my windows to the garbage xD I am currently studying computer engeneering.. and windows is not the OS to a programmer.. You need linux/mac to be efficient. But if you want your PC for gaming, internet etc, windows is no doubtly the best option you have in the market nowadays.

If you are a developer/programmer then you can try Linux rather than a normal OS e.g Win or Mac

If you want to make a switch from Windows to Linux, I recommend you to try Ubuntu Linux. It is great distribution for the beginners, since it is very user friendly and easy to use.

Try Ubuntu, it´s one of the best versions of Linux available for personal use, istead of server use.
