Well, they are trying their best to ensure that the site is available to the appropriate age. But this is not a full proof method. Face recognition software are not flawless. In fact, we have enough from the past where they have gone wrong. And with this kind of cases where they get confused with a changed beard or moustache style or some tattoo, it is evident that a lot of upskilling is to be done for these software.

You can easy check face image on using Google Lens or similar software and find real identity.
