A couple of weeks ago I bought a Bluetooth 5.2 Dual mode mouse from Shopee. It's dual mode since it also has a USB dongle that uses the old 2.4 GHz wireless signal.
I had it working using Bluetooth 5.2 at first. Since I also tried it to connect with my tablet (just as I did with my old Bluetooth mouse), I had to unpair it from my laptop.
When I tried to reconnect to my laptop, however, the laptop can no longer detect the mouse. So I resorted to using the USB dongle.
Moving forward, after a couple of weeks, the battery finally got drained yesterday. Hoping, whatever setting the mouse stored in its "memory" (if it has some) it will now be erased. As I charge the mouse, I tried connecting it again to my laptop using Bluetooth.
Out of curiosity, I pressed the button just below the mouse wheel. When I did that, the mouse was detected by my laptop and was successfully paired.
However, I encountered another problem. The mouse was locked to the "scroll mode". I mean the window will scroll whenever I used the wheel, and the buttons also worked, but the cursor does not respond when I move the mouse.
I hope someone here has encountered the same problem and found a solution.
Thanks in advance.
