You know, like 'the team had to save the world from the creature at the top of the tower' in Final Fantasy Legend 2 (or -3 ... one on Nintendo's GAME BOY)?
I mean---I'm doing pretty well in
the game (Team-level 30, Campaign-chapter 5, Arena-level 2), but ...
What 'object of the game' (other than "building up my fighters' skills to make them win more-and-more battles against other Arena-contestants)?
And
Where does it take place---the Planet "Arena"?
And I know 'the BIG Why' would also be 'the object of the game,' but I've got a lot of 'little
Whys'---I know we do Campaigns to go through the 'mission' & we do the Arena to meet other players in battle, but why go through "Land of Trials," "Time Portals," the "Dungeon," the "Tower," the "Bastion," the "Relic Temple," the "Tournament" and "Pets?"
(Those're probably all described on
Battle Arena's FANDOM, but ... I don't know ...)
Trying to find out, the closest I could get to 'a reason to win more' was basically "to Help Your Alliances Conquer the Lands" (according to
the trailer-video here).
Let's review 'the questions you instinctively (not necessarily "consciously") ask' about "the game" (any game you're playing, any situation you're in): Who? What? When? Where? Why? How?
"Who"--in the game, probably 'me' (yourself) as the team's head coach--comes from the same wordroot as "cheese 'a big thing;' cue 'stage direction;' either; hidalgo;
how (in this game, by battling other teams (both
real people also playing & NPCs)); kickshaw; neither; neuter; qua; quality; quandary; quantity; quasar; quasi; quasi-; query; quib; quibble; quiddity; quidnunc; quip; quodlibet; quondam; quorum; quote; quotidian; quotient; ubi; ubiquity;
what (in this game, 'building up the team'); when (in this game, 'whenever'); whence;
where ('Arena' is a pocket dimension, like the inside of The
Doctor's T.A.R.D.I.S.); whether; which; whither; whose; &
Why (just another dopamine-booster (that feeling you get when your players win another battle))."
... on the same wordroot as Who Whom Whoever Whosoever What Whatever Whatsoever When Whenever Whence Where Wherever Somewhere Anywhere Nowhere Why WhyNot How HowSo HowCome HowTo
