Postby tenaj14 » 20 Jul 2015, 13:51

Choosing between a laptop and desktop can be a difficult decision. Two days ago my laptop would not open. I assumed its motherboard again.. so now I really need to buy a new one. I need your expert advice.. Laptop or Desktop?

That depends:
If you like gaming desktop is the go but,
If you like to use it for work then you should buy a laptop cause you can carry it pretty much anywhere.

It depends on what kind of activities do you do with computers but if you ask me I'd say you should buy another laptop. You can carry it out and its more comfortable. Pretty basic answer but that's how we live nowadays.

It depends largely on its use: I prefer desktop, but if you have to travel with your computer is better to buy a laptop ... :)

It depends how you use it. Laptop is very practical if you are always on the go. So you can always do your work anytime, anywhere. But if you know that you will not work outside your premises, PC is still the best choice for me.

PC is the best its durable but depends on how you use it . laptops are convenient to use but not as best as pc you can use pc for a long time .laptop usually overheats when you use for a longer hours.

Desktop will beat Laptop in virtually every aspect, except portability. Also don't forget you can build your own for a LOT cheaper.

Well it depends if you can afford the desktop. If you think you can afford a whole computer then buy one but if you can't then why not replace your laptop with a better one. It also depends if you need something portable especially if you are going to use it to work or just at home. A desktop is by far better than a laptop but if you just need a functioning computer then just go for the laptop because it is cheaper.

Is it cheaper to buy a laptop than a desktop? I think it is vice-versa, right? From what I know you can custom build a high powered desktop for half the price of a brand new laptop.

If you use your computer for documents, music, videos, etc a laptop is fine but if you want it for gaming and other kinds of stuff that require more than what a laptop has to offer a desktop is the way to go
