Personally to some extent, I would support the assertion that technology is being abused today in our society. This abuse could come in various forms. It might come from teenagers at home, people at their work places and even house wives. The greatest length of its abuse comes from radical religious extremist.

Teenagers today tend to be taken by their operating of phones, laptops or any other electronic gadgets that allow them access to Internet. This singular act derail their focus and attention away from what they should do at home, instead they spend most of their time online. Same thing goes with some mothers at home and even some people at their work places.

It's evident today that most people take advantage of access granted by technology to download and view all sorts of immoral materials online and even some upload such things like sex clip, nude pictures etc, just for the sake of fame and publicity.

Radical religious extremist take to the use of technology to spread their hate doctrine and even perpetrate acts of violence and post it online. These are actually getting out of hand and I believe controlling this would be almost an impossible task.

Hmm... Yes some people are using technology with bad intentions. It is always said that there can not be day without night and so applie to technology. There cannot be a positive with a negative to accompany it.

Technology continues to advance. A new technology might have just been released. Then later on , a new one comes. Consumers avail of it, and some are using it for wrong pursuits like victimizing other people. Do you think people are abusing the use of technology by doing wrong things?

Yes people use tech to scam people online. But they also use the phone. So even old ways are used. Even the mail is used for scams. I think computers and tech can be a good things if in good hands. In evil hands like any tool be very bad!

Sad to say that there is always someone, somewhere, who will find a way to abuse most anything. Technology can be a good thing, but yes, there are many ways to abuse it (or use it against others) as well.

Not everyone but definitely cyber crime has become a worrying issue. Some people are insanely clever when it comes to finding loopholes on the internet so it's hard for the average person to stay one step ahead.

For sure, using technology is to make our lives easier. That's the point of invention. So, when we say abuse then, it will be used on the wrong side. Like using social networking sites to spread rumors, fake and harmful messages.

Yes, totally agree. There's nothing wrong with the technology it's just people doing it in a bad way. They're taking the advantage of using the technology because they know they can do everything with the help of it. Technology is still innovating so we can expect it will be getting worst on how people might abuse it.

Yes, they use technology too much. The are abusing the use of technology. They don't communicate to each other. When they go for a walk or somewhere in nature they look at their screens. They can't live in the present moment anymore. It's best to take a break sometimes. And to live in the real world more.
