Do you play lotto? Have you ever won?

Postby kat82 » 03 Jun 2025, 06:26

I see many adverts about playing lotto and increasing chances of winning the more you play. I have ever tried this but never won before. I lost interest and I no longer. Tell me about yourself. Are you in for this?

Over the years since the lotto was first introduced in the US, I have probably purchased over a thousand tickets. I've never even won a free ticket let alone any cash payment.

I used to purchase scratch off tickets and eventually calculated I won small amounts with about 10% of the tickets. There was a notable time that winnings dropped off and I eventually was able to calculate that I was only winning about 1% of the time. It was never any big amount anyway. Once I saw clear evidence of that, I stopped buying them.

There was a single notable lottery win that was a shocker. However, it was not a US game. It was from an internet ad for a German lottery. I bought a single $20 ticket and was surprised with a $600 check in the mail! I figured I would be pushing my luck to even try it again and never repeated that game.

Lotto is good for some people but I don't just like playing it because the last time I attempted it I lost alot of cash to it so I feel that lotto is not my ways to get fortune so I believe it's not good for me

I've never played lotto. I've bought instant scratch it tickets a few times though. I know the chances of winning big are low but I find them kind of fun. The most I've won was $50. I won $5 a few times on a $2.50 ticket.

I don't play loto but the issue is anytime I play those games I don't always win so I see no reason for keeping playing this game it's a waste of time for me

I have never tried them. I deliberately stay away from such things. I don't get involved in things that relies a lot on luck and can become an addiction too. It's a type of gambling.

Stay away. May be this is just a "luck".
