Is what am after. I have dropped it off to access without his acceptance. He is happy to learn that am nolonger interested in his WiFi. He even told me to set me a pass yesterday I can browse as we jazzed with him at his hoke and I told him no. He was likely why? I told him I had enough of my mobile data bundle so I didn't need his. Seemed like he was tempting me but I didn't fall a victim.mrki444 wrote:Change provider.
I get you loud and clear. Just shouldn't like you said coz I had found a real working way of sniffing it out but I let the idea go since it's like stealing as many here referred it to.Jem Smith wrote:You can, you just shouldn't.

But if he insists not to, there many ways but they are not wise or in short illegal. That's encroaching his private Internet facility. Better be good to him.

I did and I have installed mine. No more issues regarding that.Today he had power issues at his home. He want to use internet but his WiFi was off due to power. He came to my verandah with his laptop and asked me to share my password so he would check his emails and do some stuff on his computer. I told him, "buy a soda" and he was like why? I told him it is the password of my wifi. I even left him home and headed to work while he enjoyed mine.. just like that. No beef!arunima wrote:Fergal and Oldguy have explained it well. This is theft of service. It is not only ethically and morally wrong, but also a crime being theft of service. You two seem to be good friends. And for a healthy friendship, you need to respect the boundaries when someone is setting up. He doesn't want to share his password for whatever reason. And you should respect that. You would not like your friendship to turn sour by doing something that might not go well with him.
