YouTube used to have this feature many years ago until they removed it in 2015. It was very useful because you could sort your subscriptions into collections/folders for the topics you were interested in, like news, general vlogs, travel etc.
More than a year ago, they shared that they are working on bringing collections as an experiment (it sounded like it would be a new feature, which is a lie, they had this feature in the past).
Yet, to this day, collections are still not back. There are of course browser extensions for this, but a native feature available on all devices without trusting a third party would be better. Have you used this feature before they removed it?

I think it's interesting that when I watched the video you embeded, the suggested videos to watch next included one of my favorites and I didn't have to do anything for that to happen.

That's exactly how the YouTube algorithm works, in the background without us doing anything, analyzing what we watch and search and suggesting the next videos to watch.

That's a good thing. If I dislike something on there I just ignore it and everyone ends up happier.

It was useful to see the dislike count for videos that could be click bait or spam.

No way I never heard about this. Their current way of sorting subscriptions bothers me to no end! I hope they bring it back someday. Reminds me of Spotify's feature of sorting playlist in folders, which was a game-changer for me. Feels so much more organized and clean

I can understand why Google may be finding it difficult to return this feature for sorting subscriptions. Back in the past, the number of people using YouTube at any particular time was evidently significantly lower than the number of users we currently have. It would be a logistical nightmare to implement this feature when millions of users are using the service.
