Anyone working on youGov

Postby amitkokiladitya » 01 Sep 2018, 03:07

YouGov is a survey site which offers weekly surveys. The payout is high so it can take almost a year to make it. But,all because we get an email notification for each survey working on the site is not much of an issue. You need 5000 points to redeem $50. If you earn 3000 points you can donate $30 to charity.

The site was giving regular surveys but as soon as I reached 3000 points the surveys stopped. Now, I'm getting a bit critical about the site. Does anyone hold any experience of working with the site?

Yes, I just completed a survey from YouGov. I think the pay rate depends on our location. For me, it's 5000 points for around $20 USD only. Though it might take a while to reach the payout, I think we don't get disqualified from the surveys. We just have to wait patiently for the survey invitations.

By the way, I've been paid by the site twice, and I still receive surveys sometimes.

I'd reached the redemption threshold, and requested for $50 cash out. However, I've not received the payment as of now. I did contact the admin, and they said that they've sent the money through Union Pay, but I'm yet to receive the amount. Now, I'm getting frustrated after two month's of wait, and not doing any further survey for the site.

I had been with Yougov for a year now but very seldom get the surveys, seems that this site favor USA, Canada, Australia people. Asian people are given the last option. Have not cash out yet.

@peacepurple I wonder if you have joined the Malaysia YouGov site correctly. I think I get surveys from YouGov quite frequently, perhaps at least once a month, and I've been paid twice.

Many members only get 20 dollars or 25 dollars for 5000 points, why is this change in rewards?

I have joined it two months back and am still a way far from reaching the minimum payout. But looking at few of the feedback here, I am feeling a bit skeptical about the whole things.

I heard about this site a long time ago. However, I skipped it because it is a survey site and I am not ok with surveys.

There is little survey from the site, not your problem. Anyway, I just received a survey worth 90 points this morning after more than 1 month plus.

I was not anymore working at the site since I was bored because the cash out was very high. I think it will takes for a long time before I reached the payout.

I have been a member for quite some time at YouGov. They pay with gift cards only for me and 30,000 points are equal to $25 so I don't know how some of you are earning $20 for only 5000 points! I wish I was in that boat! I could cash out today!
