Many freelancers are earning well online.I guess that it took some time to build up a reputation and then get many regular clients.

You need around 600$ to 800$ per month for substituting the job earning. And that may or may not be pretty much good on that note it can be hard but we have to understand on that note.

In my case, I have the right to say that it could substitute my offline job for I don't have job anymore. I have already retired from the government service and I am receiving a monthly pension enough for my wife and my needs. Thus, working online in anyway could augment my meager monthly pension.

Some what it is my case. I am retired because of my health problem. I have not any source of personal earning, but my household earning is enough for us. So online jobs are main jobs for me.

Your case is understandable, it is very possible you don't have any offline job at the moment that your health permits so online job can definitely substitute it.

Based on what I earned in the past, I believe online work can actually substitute your day job. however, you might have to spend more time working online compared to working offline.

I am doing online job for more than 10 years but still I don't find any site which can give me regular earning. So I think It is not easy to replace offline jobs with online jobs.

That is really correct that is why I don't really rely much on my online sites because the earnings are very less compare to our offline job.
