Evolution is scary because recently they discovered that squirrels are starting to become omnivorous. They started to hunt mice and lizards.

Woe unto those who serve the role of protecting farmlands from squirrels. Someone is gonna become a meal oh!

I bet it is doable. I mean, humanity is ever proving capable to mitigate the myriad of challenges confronting us every day.

All the dogs came from grey wolves, but because of the selective breeding, natural selection, wolves evolved into different breeds of dogs. There are big ones, there are colorful ones, there are fluffy ones. Basically, we now have dogs in different shapes and sizes. We can also say the same with house cats. And then recently, Russia, not really recently, I think 50 years ago, Russia tried the same experiment with silver foxes, and they noticed after 50 years of natural selection, the foxes started wagging their tail like dogs, and they developed different colors of coats.

This Russian experiment with silver foxes is proof that nature plays with the soul of the animal. They played with selection until the foxes started to become like dogs wagging their tails and changing colors.
