It seemed like the people responsible for making Marvel comics super woke now work for DC.

Before the fans of of Clark Kent panic. Dont worry this Superman is not Clark Kent. Clark Kent is still straight. The Gay Superman is his son with Lois Lane who now uses the mantle Superman because Clark Kent is not on Earth anymore. His fighting more Universal threats in space so his son is the Superman of Earth.

The title Superboy is used by Clark Kent's clone. Marvel's sales dropped when they tried to make a Gay Captain America happen.

Fans are divided, Some of them are happy for this inclusivity while others are upset for this forced wokeness. DC retires Clark Kent as Superman because he is way too powerful and they are running out of ideas for him, so they pass the mantle to his son.

Also Clark will become Public domain in 13 years.

Tim Drake the 3rd Robin is now Bisexual
Starlord of Guardians of the Galaxy is now Bisexual
MCU version of Captain Marvel was in a lesbian relationship
Harley Quinn is Bisexual and she is in an open relationship with Poison Ivy
Winter Soldier is Gay
Mystique from X-men is Bisexual
Batwoman is Batman's lesbian cousin (do not confuse her to Batgirl)
Deadpool is Pansexual, He tried seducing spiderman multiple times but Spidey rejects him.
Before Wonder Woman met Steve, she only had sex with women because she have no choice.

Perhaps, they have more interesting and thrilling stories than those American comics. There has nothing to do with LGBT+ inclusivity.

Well Manga and Webtoons manage to have LGBT heroes without being "identity politics heavy" and preachy. Mangakas and webtoon makers write LGBT characters like people, Marvel wrote LGBT characters like political preaching. Manga and Webtoons make original gay characters instead of replacement of established white straight characters.

I dont think this will translate well in movies but I can See CW milking this for arrowverse since they already have teenage live action actors for Superman's sons.

I don't usually read comic books but I used to watch superman in animations and in a movie I think.aybe this is a way for them to show that they accept gay relationships.

We see this happening more and more. Sexuality and gender identity was never discussed so openly. But now they are finding their place everywhere. That's a good sign as it shows that society is being more inclusive and coming out accepting. Of course, the views would be divided to start with. It will take some time before the society accepts them wholeheartedly.

People who opposes this has something to more with they dont want Clark Kent to be retired. If they want to make a Gay superhero, an original superhero and not a replacement son would have been more acceptable.

People fall in love with their original superhero and don't get the same feeling and vibes when it is a replacement. It would have been better and more acceptable by the fans if the original superhero was gay and not his replacement son. But then also the traditional people would have made a hue and cry. Maybe a message that even superheroes can have children who are different despite being superhero or the superhero dad is accepting and inclusive.
