LOL. One time I was listening to a sermon and the preacher was trying to explain something and he said that his wife probably wouldn't get it because she's a blonde. The assembly burst into laughter. But I wonder what his wife did to him when he got home.

When I used to watch a famous lady preacher, she said that when she started out in her career, at home and on their way to their way to church, her husband and kids argued like cats and dogs but when they got to church it was like "glory be to god". Then on the way home they argued!

You commented on having a "blonde moment" and it made me think of something else. That's how conversations go.

Speaking of leftovers though. I do call kinds of wonderful things with leftover rice. For breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Thank you for the recipes! Out of all of the recipes, I like Kimchi Fried Rice. How about you?

My daughter is into Asian food and Kimchi Fried Rice is pretty tasty. She's the Asian chef at our house.

I have 2 huge bags of russets in my kitchen. Guess what else is in my kitchen? An air fryer! Yay!

There is food lurking in my fridge needing attention! What should I do with mashed potatoes, shredded chicken breast and egg salad?

it doesn't even make sense doing that. you can repurpose your leftover if you don't want to eat it like before

I do not understand. I'm not making sense? I am making use of food that is still good.

I saw a video to use leftover ramen broth with either cooked rice or eggs.

Would the ramen broth go good mixed with egg salad?

It sounds like an interesting combination. Not sure. When it comes to egg salad, I'm kind of a purist. I don't vary the recipe too much. But that's just me. :D

Sometime I even enjoyed better leftover foods having giving a good warm of it. So no need throwing out food in the name of left over

Bahamaians have a dish called pigeon peas and rice which my mo cooked a lot! I don't know why but the rice always tasted better when it was a leftover.

This one is from the Internet. I can tell now that everybody makes it different.

My mom and mother-in-law used tomato paste and bay leaf. I use tomato sauce and thyme.
Some people don't add either one and change the seasonings.
Some people use bacon. Some do it without bacon.

The Jamaicans and Puerto Ricans cook it one way. The Bahamians cook it differently.
On and on and on ... :D

I like the Jamaican version video recipe. I need to shop at the local Dollar Tree for a can of coconut milk. Wouldn't a can of kidney beans be easier than having soaked?

Thank you!
