People with ovens actually do this too since oven increases electric bills a lot.

Yes, it is possible to bake bread without an oven. Here are a few methods you could use:

Stovetop: You can use a heavy-bottomed pot with a lid to bake bread on the stovetop. Place the dough in the pot, cover it with the lid, and cook over low heat for about 45 minutes.

Campfire: If you have access to a campfire or bonfire, you can wrap the dough in foil or banana leaves and place it directly in the fire. Turn the dough occasionally and remove it once it has a hollow sound when tapped.

Dutch oven or pressure cooker: You can also use a Dutch oven or pressure cooker to bake bread. Preheat the Dutch oven or pressure cooker and place the dough inside. Cover and bake for about 30 minutes.

Solar oven: A solar oven is a device that uses sunlight to cook food. You can make a simple solar oven using cardboard and aluminium foil. Place the dough in a baking dish and put it in the solar oven. Bake for several hours, depending on the intensity of the sun.

While these methods may not produce the same results as baking in a traditional oven, they can still be effective and produce delicious bread. I'm really planning to try some of these methods, they also seem to be less costly.

I always wanted to make garlic bread, I hope to be able to try some of the methods that have been listed.

Roti and tortilla are simple and budget friendly. They are super versatile, and delicious when filled with just about anything you desire.

You must be careful with Teflon if you cook at high temperatures and if it has a scratched surface. The dangers of releasing chemicals into food in these two situations are high.

I bet I can't take this as a money saving tip as I like toast that is cooked from the oven. That's where the freshness comes from.

Who said you can't toast a bread made with a pan. Also sliced bread is unhealthy with all the chemicals on it. You can toast bread from a pan, Also a freshly baked bread is better than toast.

There are some alternatives to Teflon like ceramic coating (which is what I use right now) but I know there are other options but they are very expensive.

I will try this too, this sounds great , I prefer home made breads to buying one outside, adding ingredients to my taste and any other thing I can.

If you don't have an oven, you can try making bread on a stovetop using a pan or a pot. Look for stovetop bread recipes like skillet bread or flatbreads that can be cooked in a pan. Another option is to use a microwave to make quick breads or mug breads. Keep in mind that the texture and flavor may vary compared to traditional oven-baked bread.

I love to eat hot bread, but there is none at home who can bake bread. We do not have a baking oven as of this moment the previous one was damaged.

Here in my country it is general practice that in mostly areas people don't use oven to prepare bread, we call it roti. Nowadays it becomes much more famous as you can order it online too.

But having to cook bread without an oven would be stressful and risky. I feel it's better and cheaper to minimize stress and get an oven.
