It's not really hard to to earn in captcha sites, Many are making $2-$7 per day there which is around $200 per month.
But they're just too long and stressful for many people to handle. But once you get that hang of it, it becomes rather easy.

for me it's just a waste of time they pay so little for a long hours you are doing it and some penalize you if your connection is to slow

I did this for a while but found you had to be very quick and accurate (which I wasn't). It made me feel quite stressed because I kept making mistakes and then I didn't get paid. Sometimes the captchas were hard to read too. You need to be really good at this to earn any decent money.
