In order to protect your account from stalkers you should keep your circle of friends private and make your account private especially the places you go to. You should also avoid posting pictures of your house, car, and ID's. What else can you suggest to avoid social media stalkers?

Yep.. I think I've encountered a stalker on my fb profile.. If we want to protect our accounts then we need to put strong passwords... we really put easy passwords.

But actually everyone on Facebook can be considered a stalker since they receive informations and status about you when facebook is opened, especially if someone tagged you in a photo and you have no rights to remove it because you are not the one who shared it.

Yes, I was stalked a few years ago. That is the reason why I deleted my FB account under my real name. The stalking is not really that aggressive but annoying.

yeah. my facebook is private. you can't even look me up by name. but i pick and choose who to add on my friend's list and they have block features on all sites. you never know who may be stalking you tough it could be a close friend or even a nosy family member so you will always have one

haha i think i got few way back college because they were envious on how I make money back then even when I'm at school most of my time. I got threats received as well from unknown guys who used to be in a relationship with my ex. HAHAHA. But the point is we should protect our identity over the internet space because we don't know who and when this bad guys will attack us or steal or information to be used in inappropriate manner.

I agree.. If I posted regularly then I would choose which friends are going to receive that post from me.I wouldn't post it to everyone because someone might use it against me.
