We had a lotus pond which we closed as we spotted a snake in there.

Among the seeds I ordered I found lotus seeds, something new to me. I have never propagated lotus plants from seeds.

I had to search YouTube on how to handle these seeds I found it ineresting I will give them a try There are just 3 seeds to work on

I am pretty excited about it and will surely give it a try

Those lotus seeds are something completely fresh and a new experience. Trying to grow them from scratch is a pure adventure. The fact that you only got three makes it even more special and your excitement is completely justified. Watching YouTube tutorials is a smart idea. They give you the first direction and the process of making them grow well is just a little patience and care and you will see the results eventually. It's a fresh vibe to try something new and see your pond come back with new lotuses blooming well.

Is that the edible variety? Because I know that there is an edible variety of lotus where the flower, the fruit, and the seeds are edible, and also the roots.

I tried one seed. I had to expose the inner core a bit which I think I failled to do It did not germinate. I will be careful with the next.
