I think Google is trying to appease Trump so in Google Maps they renamed Gulf of Mexico into Gulf of America. Mexico never agreed to be Annexed nor agreed give away Gulf of Mexico to USA.



Now President of Mexico is going to sue Google for this controversy.



This has always been Mexican Territory and the US states around Gulf of Mexico are stolen Mexican land.

How can somebody choose different name for gulf, no matter was he president or richest man? Gulfs are not private and when different countrys have access to it, everybody must agree. Is not there some world wide agency who take care about names of public teritory and international areas?

We didn't all vote on the names things have now, though. At some point somebody chose all of the names for places.

Not a good sign for many thing. If not revolted and curbed at this stage, this might keep growing into something more dangerous and harmful for the whole world. Trump is democratically elected and he should show some civilized behaviour and choice of words. Such behaviour might not put the country in a good relationship with others.
