On some of the months they say "National" and I assume they mean 'American' (unless it's about another country or they say otherwise); and on others they say "International," so I'll try to include those words (in case there's one that has both kinds of months).
I'm sure Heart of the Nation celebrates all
those as they remember St. Katharine Drexel (on the third), St. Casimir (fourth), the second-, third-, fourth- & fifth Sundays of Lent, Sts. Perpetua & Felicity (seventh), St. John of God (eighth), St. Francis of Rome (9th), St. Patrick (17th),
... St. Cyril of Jerusalem (18th), St. Joseph (Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary ... 20th), St. Turibius of Mogrovejo (24th), and The Annunciation of The Lord (25th).
In their prayer for the month, they wrote:Heavenly Father,
in prayer I ask for help to be more pure of heart and holy, often unsure but willing to ponder with humility.
Believe the Lord, wellspring of truth. (John 4)
The name of the month "March" honors the Roman god of War, Mars. The word for 'the steady walk' comes from a wordroot that means "Marking a Boundary," or maybe one that means "Hammer" (for the Tramping Feet).
