I have never celebrated Winter Solstice.Usually here in India,it sort of goes by without many taking any notice.This year it was on December 21 I think.It is always interesting to know how people celebrate it.Thanks for the post.

Yum! Sounds delicious. I have just recently learned about rice balls. When people say sweet soup I usually think of a soup with lots of sweet corn in it. Do you have a particular recipe for your sweet soup?


Simple one, just mixed the glutinous flour with some water, make into small ball shape, sweet soup means boiled the water with some sugar, not added salt at all. :P

It taste sweet and served as a desert. :P
