I find this kind of post interesting, just to learn what the community is like. I just now went through this thread to get a count. These counts are based on the answers that actually included an age and only reflect the honest answers from each who participated.
14 to 20 - 38
21 to 30 - 105
31 to 40 - 21
41 to 50 - 9
51 to 60 - 9
61 to 70 - 7
71 to 80 - 1
81 to 90 - 1
and 91 - 1
Although the content in this thread is of little interest to outside readers, it does give a valuable insight to the active members.
The overall majority (105) of the active members are reporting their ages in the 20s. It is therefore logical to expect the majority of the topics to be of particular interest to that age group. It is also logical to expect the majority of the responses to reflect the educational experiences of those in that age group.
Those (38) in their teens who become active are mostly curious to learn what the world is about and come to get that experience.
Those in their 40s (9), 50s (9) and even 60s (6) are most likely still trying to keep relative in today's world that is rapidly transitioning to the control of the next generation.
Those in their 60s (7), 70s, 80s and 90s (1 each) are retired, no longer active in the workplace and are most likely just interested in keeping their few brain cells left alert and functioning.
I'm in my mid 60s. My age is included in the above count.
