It's been hectic at work. I'm just chilling for a bit now before dinner. I'm looking forward to having a couple of days off over Easter.

It's Good Friday here and we have a 4 day weekend for Easter. Yay! I've had a slow, easy morning with a late breakfast with my family.

Today I want to work out, do a spot of housework, and maybe start shopping online for a new computer since my laptop is on its last legs.

I feel so stupid.

Last night. my roommate and I went to a local dollar store for exactly storage containers, garbage bags and mayonnaise. She sat in the car and I went in.

I grabbed the storage containers then directly headed to food! Grabbed the mayonnaise and a bunch of other stuff! Totally forgetting the garbage bags!

Nah. Everybody forgets things sometimes. Don't beat yourself up about it, just bring a list next time.

I've been sick for a couple of days, so today I'm going to take it easy so I don't just wipe myself out again doing housework. I have a good book to read and might make some art later.

This morning we had an Easter egg hunt. This afternoon after lunch I'm going for a hike, to take advantage of the nice weather (sunny but not too hot).

I watched my EPL team Everton against Manchester City. Sadly we lost by two goals. We dominated the first 75 minutes and then the two goals came very quicly one after the other after we made THREE substitutions

I received some disturbing news this morning. So, I grabbed an egg salad sandwich to put something on my stomach as had not eaten. Then, I grabbed some good, pure, clean water with true lemon and feel much better.

Work yesterday was very stressful. At least I got to go out to dinner with my husband in the evening. Today is a public holiday here, and I still have stuff to prepare for next week so I am going to have do unpaid overtime, which I am really unhappy about.

I had THREE back to back lessons at the end of which I was happy one of my students postponed. I was exhausted! After that, I watched football and while my team put up a good fight, we lost Can't wait for this nightmare season to end!!

It's Monday morning and the weather has been pleasant here. We are expecting warm sunny weather over the next few days.

I have been slacking on the cookbook reviews as have been in a funk.

My calories have been astronomical. I create my food diary the night before, but when the day comes, I change the diary!

Now that it is almost summer, the mornings are really bright from very early. It makes it easier to get up and appreciate the morning before starting work.

I've some work tasks that I'd like to get resolved today. Hopefully I can figure out how to make today productive.

Today, I had a dentist appointment very early.

When I got home, I laid down for a few but the cat would not leave myself alone.

I got out the Crock-Pot and put some oats on. I know that a microwave would be quicker, but I wanted something in bulk for grab and go all day. I already have the leftovers in the fridge. For dinner, I am preparing scrambled eggs.
